Heavenly King, Advocate, Spirit of truth, Who are everywhere present and fill all things, Treasury of Blessings, Bestower of Life, come and dwell within us; cleanse us of all that defiles us, O Good One, save our souls.
I believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all that is seen and unseen. I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father. Light from Light,true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in Being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died and was buried. On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father. With the Father and the Son He is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
Rejoice, Mother of God, Virgin Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb; for you have borne Christ, the Saviour and Deliverer of our souls.
Oh, Mother of Perpetual Help! You distribute various graces that God gives us, His needy people; and our Lord has made you so powerful, so rich and so good that you can help us in our needs. You are the advocate of the most needy and the most neglected who seek your protection. So come to my aid when I beseech Your help. I commit my eternal salvation to Your hands and entrust my soul to You. It will be enough for me if you accept me as one of Your most faithful servants and take me under Your care. If You help me, I shall not fear anything, and will not even fear my sins (for you will obtain forgiveness for me). I will not fear evil spirits (for you are more powerful than hell.) I will not fear Jesus, our Judge, for even one of Your prayers is enough to entreat God on my behalf. I only fear that I might be guilty of carelessness and that I might forget to turn to You and that I will be lost because of this. My Sovereign Mistress, please solicit the forgiveness of my sins, the love of Jesus, help me to be good to the end and to always turn to You, O Mother of Perpetual Help. Amen.
